S3DA Indoor 5-Spot

S3DA Indoor 5-Spot is one 30-arrow indoor round, not S3DA 3D and not a 12-end NFAA 300. STX Archery is an iPhone and Android scoring app. It scores this round at 10 yards or 20 yards: tap to score, offline, no account. $19.99 one-time. The same app also scores IBO 3D, NFAA Field, European Hunt, NASP Bullseye, and the other rounds named on the App Store and Google Play listings.

How to score it in the app

Do not use Quick Shoot, NFAA Single, or the plain 12-end NFAA 300 for this round.

  1. From Shoot, tap New Shoot.
  2. Open Choose format and pick NFAA 300.
  3. Under Round, tap S3DA 5-Spot 10 or S3DA 5-Spot 20.
  4. The line under the chips should read S3DA | 10yd: 6 x 5 or S3DA | 20yd: 6 x 5.

What that round is

Six ends of five

One scored round is 30 arrows. The highest arrow is 5, so the round max is 150. The app scores that one round. It does not add a second 30-arrow round or a two-day total.

10 yards or 20 yards

S3DA 5-Spot 10 is the 10-yard distance the class table uses for Jr. Eagle and Eagle. S3DA 5-Spot 20 is the 20-yard distance for Youth and Young Adult. The app does not check class, age, or equipment.

Five-spot scoring

Five spots on the face. The center scores 5, and X counts as 5. The outer ring scores 4. Outside the spots is a miss. Tap each arrow on the face. Scores stay on the device.

Not included

The four-minute end clock, shoot-offs, and class, speed, or equipment rules are not scored in the app. This page is not S3DA 3D.

More than this round

The same app also scores IBO 3D, NFAA Field, European Hunt, NASP Bullseye, and the other rounds named on the live App Store and Google Play pages. Version 1.4 rebuilds Gear, the home screen, and Stats.
