Worcester round scoring

A Worcester round is 60 arrows at 20 yards on a black-and-white full face, not a York, Western, or World Archery indoor round. How to score it in the app

Do not use Quick Shoot, World Archery Indoor, or NFAA 300 for this round. Portsmouth, Bray, and Stafford are different rounds.

  1. From Shoot, tap New Shoot.
  2. Open Choose format and pick Archery GB Imperial.
  3. Under Round, tap Worcester. York, Hereford, Bristol, Western, National, and Warwick are other rounds on that list.
  4. The line under the chips should read Archery GB | 20yd: 12 x 5.
  5. Under Scoring Variant, leave Worcester Full. Tapping that chip clears this round.
  6. Leave Targets / Ends at 12 and Arrows / End at 5. Changing either number clears this round. Then start the round.

While scoring, the header reads “End 1 of 12” and the lines under it are Archery GB Imperial and Worcester. It does not repeat 20 yards. The yardage is the line you checked on Create Round.

The Worcester chip sets 20 yards. The app does not check bow style, age, or classification.

Full face

One 40.64 cm (16 in) black-and-white face. The centre white scores 5. Moving outward, the rings score 4, 3, 2, and 1. An arrow that cuts a line scores the higher ring. Outside the face is a miss. Tap each arrow on the face. Scores stay on the device. That face is the public Archery GB Worcester text the app uses. This page is not a check of the signed-in rule book.

Not included

Create Round does not offer the five-centre face. This page is the full face only. The saved card is one row per end: the five scores, the end total, and the running total. The full face has no X column.
